From a young age, my parents instilled in me the importance of hard work. I’ve had a job since I was a young teenager. I’ve worked as a landscaper, dishwasher, line cook, waiter, snow shoveler, teacher, salesperson, payroll specialist, and real estate agent. Each role shaped my view of the world and what it means to work smarter, not harder. Life is about scalability. How can I take my current work and do more with less? This simple thought has helped me grow professionally. In return, I can spend more time with my family and enjoy each day a little more.
I am married to my beautiful wife, Alexis, and we have three lovely kids. As a team, we are constantly seeking ways to improve our lives and enjoy our family more and more each day. If you are like us, you probably ask yourself, “How can I make more money?” While this may sound selfish to some, to us, it’s a way to overcome everyday expenses and live a worry-free life. The answer to this question in my opinion is, “to do what you enjoy. Do it over and over again until you are an expert in your passion.” Eventually, people will come to you seeking answers. My passion is simple, “How can I help others intellectually?” I’ve read countless books and spent countless hours studying business, personal finance, and personal growth, and I want to share what I’ve learned with everyone. My advice may not be for everyone, but I aim to help at least one person live a less stressful life.
I am now in my thirty’s. I enjoy taking on new challenges each year. Some by my own choosing, others by God’s will. I’ve completed a Sprint Triathlon, Spartan races, Tough Mudders, Trail Run Races, and The Bolder Boulder. This year (2024), I have completed a 50K Trail Run, a 4-day hike to Machu Pichu, and seen Mount Salkantay in Peru. Here are some other fun facts about my family and me: Alexis and I have the .01% chance of having a child for our firstborn, and we followed it up with a set of fraternal twins. Therefore, only one of our three kids was planned.
